Manufactured
from high-quality BS2014 aluminium, the assembly is hard anodized
all over for maximum protection and corrosion-resistance. Internally,
the design has been updated to incorporate a seal in the bore
arrangement, along with a wiper seal to prevent ingress of dirt
or moisture.
The
life of these units will greatly exceed that of the original
cast iron components, as hard-anodized aluminium is extremely
durable. If servicing is required, the pistons and seals are
easily and cheaply available.
Currently
1 1/2", 1 3/4", and 2 1/8" piston diameters are
produced. Also available is the heavy-duty 2 1/8" as fitted
to various Ferrari models.
