The most commonly used materials are listed below:
RS4-2
(Blue)
Good low temperature response very stable. High co efficiency
of friction but will wear more quickly. Most popular Pagid material.
RS4-4
(Orange)
Kind to discs and is very stable. It has a wide operating range
and is classified as the best all round road pad.
RS-14
(Black)
Very good at all temperatures. It provides immediate brake response
with good bite yet user friendly. It is a very stable pad on ceramic
base with excellent fade resistance, low heat transfer and good
brake modulation.
RS-19
(Yellow)
Very good at all temperatures. It provides immediate brake response
and is designed as an endurance pad as well as being very kind
to discs. It is a very stable pad on ceramic base with excellent
fade resistance and a very wide range.
Pagid
also manufacture a High Performance Road material that has a
coefficient of friction 0.45 which is constant from 100°C
to 600°C. This material provides consistent levels of performance
and stability meeting all quality and safety requirements.
